C-4 Measure temporal dimensions of behavior (e.g., duration, latency, and interresponse time)
Just like the distance between two buildings or diameter of a circle, behavior can be measured. Measurement is not only the foundation of applied behavior analysis in theory, it is also what practitioners spend our days doing. Behavior occurs both within and across time, giving us three dimensional qualities that can be measured. For C-4, we are asked to focus on temporal extent and temporal locus. In this course learners will: * Identify duration, latency, and interresponse time measurement procedures * Distinguish between duration, latency, and interresponse time * Collect duration, latency, and interresponse time data * Choose appropriate measurement from duration, latency, and interresponse time. This course is estimated to take 45 minutes, depending on your preexisting knowledge of the subject matter.
