40 Hour RBT Training: (22) Problem Behavior

This course explores the definition, categories, causes, and consequences of problem behavior within the context of behavior analysis. Learners examine how behavior is influenced by both environmental and genetic factors, including concepts like dynamic systems, epigenetics, and critical periods of development. The course highlights common environmental correlates such as exposure to violence or unmet needs and emphasizes the importance of understanding behavioral function and context. Strategies for assessment include topographical analysis and consideration of cultural variables, with a focus on how ABA can ethically and effectively address problem behavior. This course is 60 minutes.
